Professor Radu N. Catană, Department of Private Law, is professor of Business Law. He was General Chancellor and Vice-Rector of the Babeş-Bolyai University from 2007 to 2016.
Senior Fulbright at Berkeley (2011), fellow of Max Planck Institute for Comparative Law & Private International Law in Hamburg (2008), and fellow of the French Government at Paris XII (1997), he initiated the Center for Company Law & Corporate Governance, and directs the Law School’s unique LL.M in English, on International & Comparative Business Law.
Radu N. Catană held conferences and participated in academic trainings on corporate & insolvency law at prestigious universities on all continents.
He is also a permanent senior expert of the Romanian National Agency for the Accreditation of Higher Education Institutions and of the Romanian National Council for the Attestation of Academic Titles, Diplomas and Certificates.
